Jakarta, 23 Agustus 2022 – PT Hyundai Motors Indonesia (HMID) mencatat total sebanyak 3,619 Surat Pemesanan Kendaraan (SPK) dalam partisipasinya di GAIKINDO Indonesia International Auto Show (GIIAS) 2022 yang berlangsung pada 11-21 Agustus 2022. Adapun melalui pencapaian ini, Hyundai berhasil menorehkan peningkatan hingga dua kali lipat dari pemesanan produk Hyundai bila dibandingkan di GIIAS 2021.
Hyundai STARGAZER menjadi produk terlaris dengan 1,585 SPK dan disusul oleh Hyundai CRETA dengan total 1,191 SPK, dan Hyundai IONIQ 5 dengan total 399 SPK. Selain itu, Hyundai memenangkan tiga kategori selama GIIAS 2022 dan memecahkan Rekor MURI untuk “Tampilan LED Terbesar di Pameran Otomotif.”

Pada kesempatan yang sama, Makmur, Chief Operating Officer PT Hyundai Motors Indonesia menambahkan, “Kami sangat senang dan mengapresiasi sambutan hangat dari masyarakat terhadap produk-produk Hyundai yang kami pamerkan selama GIIAS 2022. Di GIIAS tahun ini Hyundai STARGAZER menjadi bintang utama dengan diraihnya penghargaan Favorite Passenger Car MPV di GIIAS 2022, terlebih STARGAZER juga mendominasi penjualan Hyundai sebanyak 1.585 SPK atau kurang lebih sekitar 45% dari total pemesanan selama ajang otomotif tersebut. Hal ini membuktikan kepercayaan masyarakat terhadap produk Hyundai yang dibuat di Indonesia sangat tinggi dan sangat diminati.”
Adapun tiga kategori penghargaan yang dimenangkan oleh Hyundai meliputi Favorite Car: Passenger Car MPV yang diraih oleh Hyundai STARGAZER, Hyundai IONIQ 5 sebagai Favorite Car: Electric Car, dan Favorite Booth: Over>2000 Sqm. Sepanjang GIIAS 2022, Hyundai merepresentasikan visi brand melalui Inspirational Media Wall LED seluas 504 m² yang menampilkan media art dengan permainan warna dan visual penuh makna.
Booth Hyundai menghadirkan 25 display kendaraan mobil, 8 unit test-drive untuk berbagai produk andalan Hyundai yang dapat dirasakan langsung oleh pengunjung, kemudian 10 area pameran dengan nuansa teknologi interaktif yang berdiri di booth seluas 2.744 m² terdiri dari berbagai fasilitas seperti area Hyundai Bluelink, area Sustainability dengan berbagai kegiatan ramah lingkungan bagi pengunjung, Area Hyundai Sketch Town, Kids Play area & Nursery Room, Hyundai x BTS photo booth, dan area Sub Soccer Games. Selain pameran Hyundai di Hall 1, Hyundai juga menghadirkan Hyundai Service Point di area parkir Hall 10.
